GTA 5 Online: Ultimate tips and tricks to make millions of dollars

A veteran Grand Theft Auto (GTA) player has dedicated  with all the consolidated tips and tricks guide to make millions of GTA$ in GTA Online with ease. Basically, there are five different ways of making quick, legit money in the game without using cheats or hacks.
Here is the complete guide depicting the various money-minting ways in the multiplayer mode of GTA 5 starting with least to most lucrative jobs:
Jobs
Jobs are the most widely available means of making money in GTA Online, but the gamer can only choose one out of six random missions and they literally lack enough customisation options. On an average, any player can make around $96,318 per hour with a maximum take of $143,830/h depending on how fast one can clear up the objectives in the mission.
Daily Objectives
As a beginner, one can easily earn around $150,000/h for completing the daily objectives, which will take roughly 20 minutes of gameplay each day. Moreover, you get a chance to earn a weekly and monthly bonus to top up your daily earnings.
VIP missions
VIP missions are one of the most lucrative options in GTAO which are relatively easier to do given the consistent payout it offers to all players across the table. To start these missions, one needs to have at least $1, 00, 000 or $1m in the bank account. The missions have a four-hour time limit with a 12 hour cooldown.
Alternatively, one can purchase the office building and upgrade their profile to CEO with an initial investment of $1m in order to unlock unlimited time for VIP missions. Using a new wave trick, one can earn up to $211,500/h in any of these missions while a normal yield gives you $149,193/h.
Heists
Heists are one of the most lucrative yet it involves the easiest jobs to do. It only requires some luxury apartment to store your cars and a heist planning room to host the job.
The only downside is that you need specific number of people to complete the job wherein each team member's contribution is vital for the success.
Here is the full list of various heist missions in the game with lowest to highest paid per hour in ascending order:
  • Series A Funding - $150,490/h
  • Fleeca - $154,100/h (this is so low, because the job has an hour cooldown)
  • Humane Labs - $177,485/h
  • Prison Break - $187,637/h
  • Pacific Standard - $289,102/h
CEO Cargo
CEO Cargo missions are the most lucrative out of the lot we have seen so far, but they could also become a money sinking hole if you do it all wrong.
Assuming that you use three crates and sell them off at full, here is the earning potential of each warehouse depending on its size:
  • Small warehouse - $194,887/h
  • Medium warehouse - $276,000/h
  • Large warehouse - $350,526/h
Also, it is advisable to reward your associates appropriately as the default wages ($40,000 to $45,000 per hour) offered in the CEO system is pointless. Besides, if you want your team to stick with you for longer period of times then you would better pay them a good sum that can make their time worthwhile.
CEO Cargo Runs
  • Avoid using small warehouses as they make less money than heists or VIP missions.
  • ALWAYS wait until a warehouse is full to sell, there is a multiplier that makes every crate more valuable the more crates you have.
  • Watch out for special items, it will always show up as the buy single crate in your warehouses even if your secretary forgets to tell you.
  • Except for special items, do away with 1 or 2 crates. Although you will save money, you will also make a lot less in return.
  • Get a Buzzard or Volatus quickly in the game as it will considerably increase your profit every hour.
  • Hire as many associates as you can, as it makes collection go faster and amps up security. Pay them well to keep them loyal to you.
The Wave Trick
  • The wave trick includes a startup sequence, a down wave where it builds up to form the up wave wherein the up wave comprises 3 missions end to end with no cooldown.
  • The start sequence is headhunter, cooldown and then hostile takeover.
  • The down wave is cooldown, headhunter and then a cooldown.
  • The up wave is sightseer, headhunter and then hostile takeover.
  • Once through the startup phase, the down and up wave can go on indefinitely to generate up to $211,500/h.

STOCK MARKET TIPS

Below are all the hints and tips you need to make tonnes of cash on the stock market in Grand Theft Auto V. If you have any tips of your own, feel free to send them in! Also don’t forget to check out our guide specifically in relation to the ecola STOCK you can earn a ton of money early on in single player mode by following the steps.

Assassination Mission Stock Investing

As Franklin you can do assassination missions for Lester and each time you carry out a hit, the stock market will be affected.
Here is a big tip (and it isn’t even the main one) – if you really want to cash-in, then wait until the end of the game (when you’ve completed the campaign and the mission “The Big Score” and should have lots of money) to do the missions. This will let you invest the most and also realize the most profits… Each character will have between $40 and $100 MILLION!
You also need to cycle through each of your characters before each mission so that you can invest all their money in the relevant stock. And, before you start a mission, make sure you quick save in case you make a mistake.
One final thing – if you need to advance some days in order for the stock price to move as desired, go to a safehouse and fall asleep. This will pass the time enough for your investments to spike. Then sell them!
So anyway, invest in the stock listed before each assassination mission and follow any other notes. Enjoy!
ASSASSINATION MISSIONSTOCK TO PURCHASE BEFORE MISSIONNOTES
Hotel AssassinationBetaPharmaceuticals (BAWSAQ)Sell Beta after the mission (80% profit). Then wait at least three days in-game and purchase Bilkington (LCN), then wait a week or more for it to rebound and sell it before the second mission (80% profit).
The Multi Target AssassinationDebonaire Cigarettes (LCN)Sell Debonaire after this second mission (80% profit) then purchase Redwood (LCN). Do not do the third mission yet, but instead advance the game for two days then sell Redwood (300% profit)
The Vice AssassinationFruit (BAWSAQ)Sell Fruit after the mission (50% profit)
The Bus AssassinationVapid (BAWSAQ)Invest in Vapid only AFTER you complete the mission. Do not do the fifth mission yet, but instead advance the game for two days then sell Vapid (100% profit)
The Construction AssassinationGoldCoast (LCN)Sell GoldCoast after the mission (80% profit)

High Frequency Stock Trading

This only works for LCN stocks and do make it worthwhile you need A LOT of money. For this reason it is good to do after you’ve finished all of Lester’s assassination missions, for example. You should also know that the prices of the LCN stocks will refresh every 45 seconds while you’re doing this.
  1. Look for the stock that has the lowest price (meaning you can buy more of it).
  2. Buy it (the maximum amount) and then immediately save your game. Don’t muck around when doing this (you will have 45 seconds or less).
  3. Once saved then check the stock by pretending to purchase more. Provided you stay on the “purchase more stock page” the price will constantly refresh for you.
  4. If the stock price goes up, then save your game and repeat the steps above. If the stock price goes down then reload your initial save game and try again.
This can be a little annoying (having to wait through a lot of saving screens) but it can also be worthwhile provided you are investing a lot of money to begin with. The incremental changes won’t be massive (maybe a few cents per price change) but they add up if you have loads of money riding on it…

Insurance Company Stock Tip

Head out on a mission of destruction and then immediately put some money into AugeryInsurance stock (AUG). When you destroyed lots of cars by damaging them, it should have caused the stock price to go down. Then after a while (and given you’ve stopped destroying things) the stock should shoot right back up!

LCN Investing via Assassinations

Before the assassination missions below switch to each of your characters and then invest all your money in the company listed. That company will benefit from the assassination you’re about to carry out and your LCN stocks will rise in value.
  1. The Hotel Assassination – Betapharmasuticals
  2. The Multi Target Assassination – Debonaire
  3. The Vice Assassination – iFruit
  4. Construction Assassination – Gold Coast Development

LCN Stock Trading

When you’re playing GTA V there will always be one particular stock on the LCN market that fluctuates within a set range (well pretty much a set range).
If you can find that stock and know it’s range, then it’s just a matter of continuously trading it to make money! When it goes down into the bottom of the trading range, buy it. Then when it goes up to the top, sell it!
Note that the stock in question for your game will not be one affected by the Assassination Missions (ie Debonaire Cigarettes, Redwood or GoldCoast).

Radio Stock Tips

If you listen often to talk back radio stations then you’re more likely to hear about stock tips. If you do happen to hear something, load up on the stock being discussed to profit!

Stock Market – Buy Cheap and Sell High

Here’s a way to score some cheap stock and then also increase it’s value.
First simply shoot down a plane operated a by a particular company. The value of its shares should decrease. Then you buy up large.
After that, shoot down the planes of rivals to the first company that you now hold stock in. The value of the stocks should go back up!

Targeting Competing Companies and Stock Market Money Making

When you do anything in Grand Theft Auto V that effects a company (like robbing a bank or gas station, or blowing up a plane) then its stock price will usually decrease to an extent (the more stuff you do to that company the lower it’s price will go).
Anyway, the price of stock in competitors of whatever company you targeting should also go up! So combining the two we have this list here. It shows which two companies are competitors of each other. So if you’re going to target FlyUS and take out a few planes you should buy AirEmu stock (and vice-versa).

Tinkle Stock Tip

Ideally this is best done later in the game when you have serious cash to invest…

  1. First get all your characters to invest in Tinkle (TNK) on the BAWSAQ.
  2. Then head to Hitch Lift 1 using Michael as your character and you’ll see a guy to pick up.
  3. You need to take him to the Airport and along the way he’ll tell you about a particular stock that is going to increase in value.
  4. $Profit$

Trading Days and Advancing Time

Each trading day on the stock market begins at 8am (except weekends), so if you are advancing time, then make sure you check it at 8am each day. Advancing time via sleeping will put your forward 8 hours.

how to spend your money by investing in the property and its price list.

In Grand Theft Auto V, one way to spend your cash is by investing in Properties. There are two types of property available throughout Los Santos and Blaine County: businesses and garages, and they provide either income or storage.
To date there are a total of 16 businesses and 7 garages available to buy, from a run-down $80k bar right up to a lip-clenching $150million exclusive golf club. Due to the different backgrounds and lifestyles of MichaelFranklin and Trevor, each property can only be bought by certain characters. Some are limited to just the one whilst others can be bought by any, but you'll need to purchase at least 5 to add to 100% completion. Each property can also be only owned by one character at a time (apart from the marina), so choose wisely.
Find details about each type of property available on Grand Theft Auto V below.
Businesses
Business properties are purely for earning a living - what you spend you'll eventually get back as they generate income that'll be deposited into your bank account every in-game week. Varying in style and development, some properties offer perks such as free customisation for your car or free games of golf. There are also unique "manager" side-missions that you can choose to accept (or ignore) to secure full income for that week, such as alcohol deliveries for the Hen House or fighting off gangs at Tequi-la-la. You'll notice that the price range increases exponentially towards the bottom of this guide - some of these businesses can't possibly be bought via a normal playthrough of the game; they'll require trying your luck at the Stock Market or simple grinding to afford.
